The fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit is being held from Aug 27 to 29 in Qingdao, Shandong province. During the summit, Ishibashi Tadashi, executive officer of ITOCHU, CEO for the ITOCHU East Asia Bloc, highlighted the significant advantages that Shandong provides for multinational companies.

He emphasized that the Confucian values of "benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and trustworthiness", combined with the province's hospitality, create a favorable environment for business operations.

He noted that ITOCHU has been present at every Qingdao Multinationals Summit so far, aiming to gain a deeper understanding of Shandong's economic landscape and the region's policies regarding foreign investment.
