An industrial cooperation conference between Shandong and Japan was held in Jinan, Shandong province, on July 31. The event brought together over 700 representatives, including delegates from 94 Japanese companies, relevant Japanese local governments and institutions, and officials from Shandong provincial departments and various cities.

During the event, agreements for 37 projects covering a wide range of sectors, such as healthcare, energy conservation, advanced equipment, and new materials, were signed. These projects are expected to drive cooperation between the two countries in green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.

In recent years, Shandong and Japan have enjoyed close personnel and economic exchanges. Shandong has been actively making its business environment friendlier to Japanese companies and investment, and this event has provided an excellent platform for further deepening cooperation between the two sides.

Both Shandong and Japan are committed to achieving green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. By sharing opportunities in these areas, the two sides aim to upgrade trade and industrial cooperation, promote technological innovation and complementary advantages, and strengthen people-to-people exchanges, friendship city relations, and cultural and tourism cooperation.
