On June 24, the Information Office of the Jining Municipal People's Government held a press conference to introduce Qufu's measures and achievements in promoting rural vitalization.

With a unified vision, Qufu has implemented comprehensive and coordinated planning to ensure that rural vitalization efforts are both distinctive and effective.

Qufu is committed to leveraging its rich cultural heritage to revitalize rural areas. By drawing wisdom and strength from its traditional culture, the city is integrating Confucianism into rural social governance. This approach encourages residents to actively learn, apply, and share Confucian teachings.

Qufu is focusing on industrial development to fuel rural vitalization. It is prioritizing the growth and expansion of eight key industrial chains: grain and oil corn, vegetables and edible fungi, forestry and fruit, traditional Chinese medicine, prefabricated dishes, animal husbandry and aquatic products, cold chain logistics, and cultural tourism.

It is also actively promoting the integration of traditional culture into daily life, focusing on moral education and credit building. The city is incorporating the Confucian concept of "harmony as the most precious thing" into social governance. This approach aims to create a grassroots governance system that responds swiftly to public needs, resolves conflicts promptly, and promotes upward mobility and social harmony.

Qufu is also committed to changing customs and habits, eliminating outdated practices, promoting traditional virtues and positive behaviors, and cultivating a positive social atmosphere in rural areas.
