A delegation of high school students from the city of Sacramento, capital of the state of California in the United States, recently visited the Jinan Art Museum and the Jinan Cultural Center in Jinan, where they immersed themselves in traditional Chinese cultural activities and had the chance to learn about intangible cultural heritage items such as paper-cutting, shadow puppetry, and woodblock printing.

Jinan and Sacramento established a sister city relationship in 1985. Over the past 30 years, teenagers from both sides have engaged in profound cultural exchanges, becoming a highlight of the ever-growing cooperation between the two cities.
