Jinan organized a Spring Festival celebration event in Murcia, Spain on Feb 10, inviting local residents to paste Spring Festival couplets and write the Chinese character fu.

In addition to the Spring Festival decorations, Jinan photos and window paper-cuttings were also given out as gifts, promoting the unique charm of Jinan and the cultures of Shandong as well as China.

Through the event, local residents of Murcia were able to gain a deeper understanding of Jinan and experience Jinan's traditional culture, fostering mutual understanding and friendship between the two sides.

Murcia, located in the southeast of Spain, is the country's seventh-largest city and a significant agricultural hub. Renowned for its abundant production of lemons, citrus fruits, and high-quality agricultural products, it also garners attention for its prominent industrial position and rich historical and cultural heritage.
