In a captivating exploration of local culture, 15 young university students from diverse corners of the globe embarked on a delightful journey through the Wanyuan scenic area in Linqing, a county-level city under the administration of Liaocheng, Shandong province. 

The visit unfolded as part of the "Seeing Liaocheng with International Eyes" initiative, offering an immersive experience into the essence of Chinese New Year festivities.

Enthralled by the grandeur of the East Garden, the visitors were transported through time as they witnessed the spectacular live performance, which vividly depicted ancient Chinese traditions. 

As the night closed in, illuminated landscapes and traditional architecture came alive with enchanting scenes, prompting reflective conversations and joyful snapshots.

The scenic area, a cultural haven, not only showcased intricate flower lanterns and mesmerizing light shows but also offered a glimpse into China's intangible cultural heritage through exhibitions and creative displays. From delicate delicacies to savory local delights, the visitors savored the richness of Shandong gastronomy.
