Shandong province has laid out its visionary roadmap for 2024, emphasizing technological breakthroughs, industrial empowerment, and urban development. The government's work report, presented during the read of the report on the work of Shandong Provincial People's Government, details targeted initiatives for 16 cities, driving specific projects to new heights.

In a strategic move, laboratories are enlisted to fortify the construction, spawning seven national-level key laboratories. Industry giants, including Tianrui Heavy Industry and Weichai Power, are poised to establish national-level platforms for innovation in measurement, quality, and standards.

The province is set to expand its high-quality steel base and initiate groundbreaking projects. Distinctive industries, from Tengzhou Machine Tools to Zaozhuang's lithium-ion new energy sector, will undergo a transformation to elevate their global significance.

Urban hubs like Jinan, Qingdao, and Yantai are designated as industrial leading cities, propelling advanced industrial zones. The government also eyes housing consumption, focusing on key cities like Jinan and Qingdao, with new residential projects featuring improved amenities.
