With Spring Festival around the corner, Donglijia village in Xiazhuang town, Shandong province, is currently experiencing its busiest season as villagers work overtime to produce red paper, print couplets and sell festival supplies.

Donglijia village is renowned for its red paper and couplet production. Over 60 percent of the villagers work in the red paper couplet production industry.
