In recent years, Tancheng county in Linyi, Shandong province has been intensifying efforts to manage and restore the environment of the Yihe River. Several sections of the river have become important stopovers and habitats for a variety of bird species, including swans and bean geese, during their migratory journey. As a result, the number and diversity of migratory birds wintering here have been steadily increasing year after year.
