Shandong to promote its products in Beijing

Shandong will host a promotional event highlighting the province's renowned brands, specialties, handicrafts and picturesque landscapes in Beijing from Nov 10 to 12.

Titled "Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong", the event organized by the Shandong Provincial People's Government will include an opening ceremony, special promotion sessions, achievement showcases, experiential sales and exhibitions, and mini plays and dramas.

Through immersive and experiential promotions and activities, the event aims to showcase the achievements of the "Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong" brand, as well as offer a chance for domestic and foreign guests to experience the hospitality of Shandong and excellent quality of Shandong-made products.

The cultural and tourism special promotion session will be held on Nov 10, where winter tourism-themed products will be launched to showcase the charm of Shandong.

A special promotion session highlighting Shandong's time-honored brands will be held on Nov 11. Shandong farm products, well-known manufacturing brands and high-tech products will also be promoted.

Shandong is renowned for its thriving economy, rich cultural heritage, and abundant tourism resources. Owing to its strong industrial base and advanced technology sectors, Shandong plays a significant role in China's economy and is a major hub for manufacturing and high-tech industries.

Shandong is steeped in history and is the birthplace of many influential figures, including Confucius and Mencius. Visitors can explore the ancient city of Qufu, the hometown of Confucius, and witness the majestic beauty of Mount Tai, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Tai'an.

Shandong is also home to picturesque coastal cities such as Qingdao, Weihai and Yantai, all of which have distinct marine cultures and stunning beaches. The province has cultivated a range of well-known brands across several sectors, including manufacturing, tourism, culture, agriculture and food.
