Weichai Group, one of China's leading heavy vehicle and component manufacturers, and Bosch Group, a world leading global supplier of technology and services, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on future scientific and technological innovation on Nov 3.

According to the agreement, the two sides will deepen cooperation in new energy, high thermal efficiency diesel engines, intelligent transportation and other fields, and use their respective global research and development resources to develop more key core technologies, solve global problems, and jointly contribute to the development of the global industry.

Before the signing ceremony, a delegation led by Stefan Hartung, chairman of the board of management of Bosch Group, visited Weichai Group on Nov 2 for a meeting with Tan Xuguang, chairman of Weichai Group.

Hartung said that the two sides have achieved record-breaking results in past cooperation, and he expressed hope that the two sides will further expand cooperation in new technologies such as fuel cells to achieve stronger and more long-term development.

Tan pointed out that the two sides have cooperated closely in technological development and worked together to create a model for cooperation between Chinese and German enterprises, and Weichai will continue to deepen all-around strategic cooperation with Bosch.
