Nanshan Holdings, originally established as a small factory in 1978 in Longkou, Yantai, has become a significant player in the global arena.

In 2018, the group began to construct PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia in the country's Galang Batang Economic District. Since its involvement in Indonesia through the Belt and Road Initiative, the company has emerged as a key contributor to local economic development, job opportunities and people's livelihoods.

Connecting China with Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, Nanshan Holdings will further pursue green and low-carbon aluminum oxide production with advanced technologies in Indonesia, shouldering its social responsibilities and fostering strong connections between Chinese and Indonesian communities, said the company's senior officials.
