A delegation led by Zenin Sergei, vice president and dean of the National School of Law of the Russian National University of Tyumen, recently visited Shandong University of Technology in Zibo city, East China's Shandong province.

During the visit, both universities signed a friendship and cooperation memorandum and agreed to collaborate in talent development and academic research.

The two sides held discussions about cooperation in interdisciplinary fields like science and law, biology and law, and business and law. The two universities are looking to introduce joint dual degree master's law programs, student exchanges, master's and doctoral programs, and establish the "China Russia Rule of Law Research Center". Activities like Russian Law Week and China Law Week were also discussed.

The trip gave the Russian delegation an opportunity to learn more about Qi culture through visits to Zibo Ceramic Glaze Museum and Qi Culture Museum.

The delegation expressed enthusiasm for future academic and cultural exchanges, and hopes to bolster cooperation and development between the two institutions.
