Shandong entrepreneurs conference kicks off in HK

The Shandong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Entrepreneurs Exchange Conference kicked off in Hong Kong on May 30.
A Shandong-themed tour titled "One Million Youth Look at the Motherland" was officially launched during the conference.
Song Junji, vice-governor of Shandong, said that the conference has deepened exchange and cooperation among the three regions and expressed hope that Shandong, Hong Kong and Macao will further strengthen ties in areas such as capital, technology and trade.
"Shandong will build a first-class business environment and share the opportunities with entrepreneurs to create a better future," he said.

More than 100 young entrepreneurs from Shandong, Hong Kong and Macao attended the conference. Twelve industrial cooperation projects worth 4.96 billion yuan ($698 million) were signed during the event.
The Shandong Communist Youth League said at the conference that it will encourage more young people from Hong Kong and Macao to visit Shandong, as well as launch various exchange activities and internships to enhance the awareness of Shandong among young people from Hong Kong and Macao.
Other attendees included Jonathan Choi Koon-shum, permanent honorary president of the Hong Kong Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Ho King Lun, president of the Industry and Commerce Association of Macao, and Alexander Yeung Ching-loong, vice-chairman of Emperor Group.
