Martin Chedondo, Zimbabwe's ambassador to China, led a delegation to Weihai, Shandong province from May 8 to 10.

Ambassador Chedondo said that Weihai is a young and dynamic city, while Zimbabwe, a developing country with beautiful scenery and rich natural products, is at a stage of rapid development. He noted that the two sides enjoy broad space for cooperation in medical care, textiles, agriculture, and mining.

He expressed hope that the two sides will increase mutual visits, adding that more Weihai enterprises will visit and invest in Zimbabwe, as well as explore new opportunities for cooperation in various fields to bring more benefits to the people of both places.

"The Zimbabwean government and the Embassy in China will provide high-quality services and preferential policies for Weihai enterprises to carry out cooperation in Zimbabwe," he said.
