Kozármisleny sister-city garden launched in Pingyin

Print PrintA ceremony to unveil the Kozármisleny Garden was held in Jinan's Pingyin county, the sister city of Kozármisleny in Hungary, on May 5.
Construction of the garden, which cost the Pingying government 800,000 yuan ($115,600), started in March.
Pan Jianjun, governor of Pingyin, said during the ceremony that Pingyin and Kozármisleny have forged a deep friendship since the establishment of their sister-city ties two years ago.
Featuring Hungarian elements, different varieties of roses, and a mix of Eastern and Western aesthetics, the garden symbolizes the friendship and collaboration prospects between the two cities, said Pan.
"I hope that both sides will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, and urban construction, and work together to create a better future," he added.
Kozármisleny mayor Biró Károly said the garden marks another milestone in the bilateral relations between the two cities, and pledged to strengthen exchanges in culture, education and economy.
Li Yu, deputy Party secretary of the Jinan's foreign affairs office, expressed hope that both sides will deepen cooperation in multiple areas and make contributions to further enhance the friendship between China and Hungary.
