Boutu Bateriki, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kiribati, led a delegation to Shenxian county, Liaocheng, Shandong province on March 11 to learn about the local characteristic agriculture industries.

The delegation visited an agricultural company, an agricultural high-tech industrial demonstration park, an agricultural product quality and safety traceability platform, and other places in Shenxian. They were impressed by local achievements in developing modern agriculture and rural areas.

The delegation members said that the trip was worth it. They added that they want to bring back the excellent modern agricultural construction and operation experiences of Shenxian, improve the agriculture quality of their country, and grow high-quality fruits and vegetables suitable for the tastes of Pacific Island people.
