Binzhou in Shandong province is building a modern socialist city in all respects and advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization, said Li Chuntian, a deputy to the National People's Congress and mayor of Binzhou.

The city stabilized its economy, steadily enhanced its development quality, and maintained overall social stability in 2022.

The intensity of the city's R&D investment in the province has steadily progressed, jumping from 9th place in 2018 to 3rd place in 2019 and to 1st place in 2020.

It has established the Binzhou Talent Festival to lure more talents from home and abroad. Since 2019, the city has introduced more than 520 high-end experts, as well as more than 47,000 college students with bachelor's degrees or above, including more than 5,600 with master's or doctor's degrees.

At present, more than 1,000 local enterprises have carried out extensive and in-depth school-enterprise cooperation with various colleges and universities. Each year, more than 20,000 technical and skilled talents are trained for enterprises. At present, there are more than 700,000 industrial workers in the city.
