Hustle and bustle returns to Jinan

The hustle and bustle of everyday life has returned to Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, after the provincial government adjusted its COVID-19 regulations.

Farmers' markets, restaurants, sports and entertainment venues, and commercial complexes are receiving more visitors.

One Chinese yam vendor surnamed Chen said supplies are sufficient, logistics are more convenient and transportation is smoother since the local government rolled back its previous policies.

With the relaxation of COVID-19 measures, the restaurant's business is getting better, said Zhang Chongyang, acting manager of the restaurant.

"We pay extra attention and efforts to disinfection the gym," said Wang Minghe, a staff member of a gym located in Huaiyin district. Thanks to the relaxation of policies, the gym is open again.
