The team from Jinan Licheng No 2 High School took the crown in the U17 level final competition for senior-high school female students of the first China Youth Football League 2022, which was held in Yudu, Jiangxi province on Nov 27.

The Jinan Licheng No 2 High School team beat Hangzhou Women's Football U17 team 5-2 in the final.

Jinan Licheng No 2 High School established its women's football team in January 2021, and has developed it into a demonstration in Jinan, as well as in Shandong province, as its overall ability and competitiveness improved rapidly.

According to officials from Licheng district's education and sports bureau, the district has formed a football player cultivation mode ranging from primary school to high school in order to boost the development of regional campus football and to cultivate more football talents for Shandong province as well as the country.
