Three time-honored brands from Liaocheng, Shandong province are being exhibited at the ongoing fifth China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

The time-honored enterprises, namely Dong-E-E-Jiao Co, Yangping Food Co, and Jingyanggang Winery, are displaying featured products to merchants and visitors from home and abroad at the fifth CIIE, which serves as a major platform for international trade, investment, cultural exchanges and cooperation.

It's the fifth time for Dong-E-E-Jiao Co, the largest Chinese ejiao maker by market share, to attend the CIIE. The maker of donkey-hide gelatin, an ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine, is promoting a series of ejiao products at the expo.

"As a time-honored TCM enterprise, Dong-E-E-Jiao Co will continue to explore and innovate, focus on consumer demand, and use good products to better serve our customers," a staff member from the company said.

"The CIIE brings together business people from all over the world. We hope to attract more domestic and foreign enterprises to cooperate with us through this expo," said Ren Xuezheng, general manager of Yangping Food Co.

"We hope to show the unique charm and profound culture of Chinese liquor to the global customers via the expo, as well as promote cultural exchanges and seek more market opportunities," a staff member from Jingyanggang Winery said.

In addition, 112 students from the Liaocheng Vocational and Technical College are working as volunteers at the expo.
