"Advancing rural vitalization across the board was highlighted in the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) report, and rural vitalization will be achieved at a high-level in the new era," said Sun Dongwei, president of Luhua Group, which is currently China's leading food processing enterprise. The enterprise is based in the county-level city of Laiyang, Yantai in East China's Shandong province.

Sun said that he was very inspired by the 20th CPC National Congress report, and Luhua Group will stay committed to building an entire peanut oil processing industry chain, with the aim of contributing to the county's rural vitalization work.

After more than 30 years of vigorous development, Luhua has explored a unique way to boost common prosperity between corporations and farmers by establishing 30 agricultural cooperatives, which have brought tangible benefits to more than 5 million farmer households, and helped 10 million farmers earn stable incomes.

Currently, the group has set up more than 100,000 mu (6,666.67 hectares) of planting bases across the country for growing high-quality peanuts, which have helped increase local farmers' incomes.
