Shandong takes action to boost culture, tourism sector

Print PrintShandong province in East China has taken actions to unleash the growth potential of the culture and tourism sector in recent years, and its efforts were praised recently on a China Central Television program.
The province's efforts have proved successful in helping the culture and tourism sector recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and build up cultural confidence.
Many themed cultural products have been launched by Shandong this year, including a Yellow River-themed route, which offers visitors a platform to get immersed in the folk customs and natural beauty of the Yellow River basin.
In the future, the province will promote the integration of its rich cultural resources along the Yellow River, and launch more distinctive tourism products such as self-driving tours, cycling tours, camping events, and intangible cultural heritage activities to promote the high-quality development of the culture and tourism sector in cities along the river.
