The Yellow River Sports Center, which is expected to hold over 60,000 people, will be built in the Jinan Start-up Area of Growth and Drivers Transformation.

The sports center will be built near the Yellow River and will cover an area of 63.28 hectares. Its design concept is derived from the Yellow River's nine bends.

The football stadium in the center will be build using the latest FIFA World Cup standards and be used for professional events in the long term.

The sports center will develop into a center integrating sports competition, sports training, sports tourism, cultural exchanges, entertainment, leisure, as well as scientific and technological innovation, officials said.
