Shan Mengbo, 73, has dedicated nearly 30 years to egg carving, a provincial intangible cultural heritage item. He has made over 1,000 eggshell artworks that feature landscapes, flowers, and birds, as well as calligraphy and character portraits.

A globe carved out of a goose egg with latitude and longitude lines only 0.2 millimeters wide is one of his most satisfying works. Check out the video here!
