The "Connecting Shandong with Fortune Global 500 • Deepening Cooperation in High-end Equipment Industry" event was held in Jinan, Shandong province on Feb 11, with both online and offline channels.

Hosted by the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, the event aimed to promote cooperation and exchanges in the high-end equipment industry for domestic and foreign enterprises.

The event had one main venue in Jinan and sub-venues in 16 Shandong cities.

Entrepreneurs from 22 Fortune Global 500 companies and industrial leading companies attended the conference, including General Electric, Mitsubishi Electric, ZF Friedrichshafen AG, and Siemens.

Agreements for 19 projects were signed for intelligent robots, numerical control machine tools, energy storage equipment, and intelligent manufacturing equipment.

Li Ganjie, Party chief of Shandong, had conversations online with business representatives and expressed hope that global entrepreneurs can seize development opportunities in Shandong to further expand investment and cooperation.

In 2022, Shandong will host "Connecting Shandong with Fortune Global 500 " serial events focusing on the modern marine industry, new energy and materials, biomedicine, international trade, shipping logistics, and new-generation information technology.
