Cultural week tightens ties between Shandong, S Korea

Print PrintThe Sino-South Korea Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Week kicked off in the Economic Development Zone in Weihai, East China's Shandong province on Dec 31.
The activity, which is a key part of the 2021-2022 China-South Korea Year of Cultural Exchanges, will last for 10 days and conclude on Jan 9. It consists of three main parts such as China-South Korea intangible cultural heritage shows. Intangible cultural heritage inheritors from the two countries will show visitors a wide range of colorful cultural activities such as sugar painting, carpentry, and costume culture.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of China-South Korea diplomatic relations, and the event is expected to strengthen cultural and people-to-people exchanges and push for greater development of cooperation in various areas between the two countries as well as help Weihai shape its global reputation.
