Jining will prioritize employment stability as part of efforts to enhance economic and social development, according to a notice recently released by the local government.

The notice specified the city's efforts to boost employment in 10 aspects, including enhancing the employment rate, optimizing the business environment for start-ups and improving job suitability.

Preferential policies, including lowering work-related injury insurance costs and refunding unemployment insurance fees, will continue to be implemented to help enterprises cut labor costs.

The notice also encouraged government departments and State-owned enterprises to hold large scale job fairs to offer more job opportunities for college graduates, and urged human resources service institutes to facilitate communication with enterprises to better allocate manpower and harmonize employment relationships.

Efforts will also be made to relocate labor forces in rural areas. This includes offering vocational skills training, setting up non-profit public positions for people who face difficulties finding jobs, and promoting labor cooperation between the western and eastern regions in the country.

Support will be given to establish family farms and farmers' cooperatives, which are expected to create jobs that are near the homes of villagers. The local government will also introduce incentives for migrant workers, college graduates and veterans to start businesses in rural areas.
