The 2nd China International Cultural Tourism Fair will take place from Sept 16 to 20 at the Shandong International Exhibition and Convention Center in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province.

The event, which will be held online and offline, will feature 10 exhibition areas centered on topics like creative design, fine arts, rural revitalization, and the integration of culture and tourism. Five online platforms for trade, projects, live-streaming, services, and promotion, have also been established.

Handicrafts indigenous to Shandong as well as other regions in China, especially the nine provinces along the Yellow River, will take the spotlight at the event. Live streams will be held to promote sales of the exhibited handicrafts.

A number of artists and inheritors of Shandong's intangible cultural heritages will display their skills at the fair. According to Wang Zhishui, an inheritor of Qihe black pottery, he will show visitors how to engrave graphic designs on pottery.

The fair also includes 25 parallel sessions held in different districts and counties in Jinan to showcase the city's history, culture, and tourism attractions such as the Baihuazhou Historical and Cultural Block.
