In addition to the opening ceremony that will be held on June 10, the fair will also include a Shandong-Hong Kong financial cooperation forum, a science and technology and human resources development forum, as well as an import and export commodities expo.

The expo will invite more than 100 Hong Kong exhibitors, showcasing 20,000 kinds of commodities from Hong Kong and abroad, as well as characteristic export products from cities in Shandong province.

For the fair, cities in Shandong province have selected 174 high-quality cooperation projects and parks, with a total investment scale of $43.05 billion, as their key promotions. The projects cover industries like shipping, biomedicine, and high-end new energy commercial vehicles.

Zibo will promote 84 projects and parks, with a total investment of $21.65 billion at the fair, involving high-end equipment manufacturing, new generation information technology, medical care, and other fields.

"Hong Kong is an international center famous for its finance, trade, and shipping. It is also one of the key areas for exchanges and cooperation with our province," said Zhang Xingcheng, deputy head of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce.

He also noted that the fair will serve as an exchange platform in trade, finance and talent, provide pragmatic measures for Shandong's high-quality development, and further promote the transformation of old growth drivers to new ones.
