The 2021 China Human Capital Industry Development Conference kicked off in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, on May 18.

The conference was hosted by the CPC Jinan Municipal Committee and the Jinan municipal government. Nearly 500 people including officials and experts related to the industry attended the meeting.

With the theme of new industries, new markets, new opportunities, and new energy, the conference aimed to accelerate the construction of Jinan's human capital industrial chain and the National Public Service Platform for the Human Capital Industry, as well as promote the integration and application of industrial cultivation results.

Officials noted that the National Public Service Platform for the Human Capital Industry will realize open data sharing, which will give full play to the role of the "one cloud and three terminals" service system.

"Evaluation Guideline for Human Capital Services" was issued during the conference to provide industry standards and working models. The Human Capital Intellectual Property Promotion Forum and four forums were also held.

Receiving great attention from national ministries and commissions, the conference attracted experts and professors in various industries, expressing the value and development trends of the human capital industry from a variety of perspectives.

"Jinan will accelerate the construction of an ecological Jinan and enlarge the capacity of talent innovation and entrepreneurship by building a hub for the human capital industry," said Wang Hongzhi, director of the administrative committee of Jinan Innovation Zone.
