A fair featuring the latest achievements of industries in Tai'an, East China's Shandong province opened on April 21 at the Taishan International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The event with both online and offline channels is promoting the city's 10 distinctive industries including auto parts, mining equipment, construction engineering equipment, new materials, textile and clothing, and healthcare.

A total of 269 enterprises are on site at the exhibition while more than 280 are displaying their products at the exhibition's online platform.

During the exhibition, one seminar, one main forum and three sub-forums will be held to facilitate discussions on cutting-edge technologies and development trend in industries.

The event, the first of its kind in the city, aims to showcase the city's economic development results and to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. It will last till April 24.
