The third Yantai Citizen Cultural Festival will be held on March 27 in Yantai, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province, including a series of cultural activities to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Ten major cultural events, covering cultural performances, exhibitions and reciting activities, as well as intangible cultural heritages, will be held to promote the history of the Party from March to September. Tourism routes themed around rural areas, marine resources, and local delicacies will be launched during the festival.

The festival aims to accentuate the city's rich culture, as well as accelerate the high-quality development of its cultural and tourism services.
