Seventy-seven A-level scenic areas in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, will retain their regular hours throughout Spring Festival, announced the Jinan municipal government at a news conference on Feb 4.

The city's 45 public cultural centers at the provincial, municipal, and county levels, as well as 26 Quancheng reading rooms, will also be open to the public as usual.

The number of visitors to scenic areas will be kept under 75 percent of the maximum capacity.

Jinan Fantawild Oriental Heritage, Red Leaf Valley, and Baihuazhou Historical and Cultural Block will host a series of festive activities to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, while hot springs in Shanghe, Jiyang, and Gangcheng will retain their regular visiting hours.

In addition, the Shandong provincial self-driving tour association has launched eight routes for drivers to enjoy the city's snow, hot springs, and ice waterfalls. A series of online activities focusing on intangible cultural heritage, cultural relics, and folk customs will also be launched.

Tourist attractions will strengthen epidemic control and prevention measures during the holiday. Visitors must scan their health QR codes, wear masks, and have their temperatures taken before entering. After entering, visitors must maintain a distance of more than one meter from other people.
