After a recent snowfall in Zibo, fruit farmers harvested more than 50 mu (3.33 hectares) of apples in Yangsanyu village, Yiyuan county in East China's Shandong province.

The apples, which were picked later than usual, are known as "snow apples" as they are picked deliberately following snowfall, which aims to increase their growth time and improve the sweetness of the fruit.
