The Jinan-Tai'an expressway overpass is nearing completion after the asphalt was successfully poured, local media reported on June 21.

The Jinan-Tai'an expressway, expected to open this year, will shorten travel time from Jinan to Tai'an to just half an hour.　

The expressway, passing the southern mountainous area of Jinan, enjoys picturesque scenery and includes nine overpasses.

After its completion, the expressway will help promote regional development between the two cities.
