The festival is also set to launch several tourist routes through the roses to attract more visitors to the countryside to enjoy the sea of flowers.

Pingyin county is considered the home of Chinese roses owing to its unique geographical and geological conditions. Rose cultivation in the area can be traced back over 1,300 years.

The rose processing products in the area have been exported to the United States, Japan, Singapore, Denmark, the Netherlands, Australia and 16 other countries and regions.

The China (Pingyin) Rose Cultural Festival will last for one month.
