Peonies are in full bloom in Heze, Shandong province. It's the best time to appreciate peonies. Dubbed the "peony capital of China" by the China Flower Association, Heze is China’s largest base of peony cultivation, research, sales and exports. It now has an area of 8,000 hectares growing more than 1,000 varieties of the flowers.
