The Shandong Education Department, Health Commission of Shandong and Weifang municipal government signed an agreement on Nov 28 to jointly promote the development of Weifang Medical University.

The three parties will strengthen support for the university's efforts to develop high-quality degree programs and individual courses and hire skilled faculty members.

University-government cooperation, resource sharing and collaborative innovation will serve as the foundation for the development of Weifang Medical University.  

Since its establishment 68 years ago, the university has graduated more than 100,000 students.
