The 2019 International Summit on Innovation and Development of Youth Entrepreneurs will be hosted from Sept 8 to 10 in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province.

The Information Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government held a briefing for media outlets on Sept 3 to discuss details of the summit.

Officials said that the summit is designed to build a platform to promote exchanges for young entrepreneurs, expand integration of industrial resources, as well as advance investment and business promotion.

A total of 121 projects involving an investment of 231.85 billion yuan ($32.3 billion) will be promoted at the summit.

The summit will gather 823 guests, including academicians, scholars, experts, and entrepreneurs.

Ni Guangnan, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and several business tycoons, such as Dong Mingzhu, chairwoman of Gree Electric Appliances, a major home appliances manufacturer, and Zhou Hongyi, chairman and CEO of 360 Security Technology Inc, will deliver keynote speeches at the summit.

Forums on the innovation development of China's unicorn and gazelle enterprises, road shows, as well as inspection tours to industrial parks in Jinan, Qingdao, Liaocheng, Dongying, and Binzhou will also be organized.

In addition, four cities, including Jinan, Qingdao, and Yantai, will host business promotion events during the summit.
