According to the organizing committee of the eighth Shandong International Cultural Industries Fair, 40 cultural sites, enterprises, and parks have been selected as sub venues of this year's cultural fair, following rounds of application, screening, and on-the-spot investigations.

According to the organizing committee, this year's edition is set to attract more participants than previous years by involving more celebration and exhibition sites.

A dazzling series of branch activities will be staged across the city to enrich the lives of local residents, promote the province's rich and colorful cultural resources, as well as gain more interaction with the public.

The city's famous scenic spots, such as Furong Alley, Zhujiayu scenic area and Baimai Spring scenic area, cultural and creative industrial parks, museums, as well as parks are included on the list.

The cultural fair will be held from Sept 19 to 23 at Shandong International Convention Center with 10 exhibition areas in eight halls. The exhibition area has increased from more than 30,000 square meters last year to over 100,000 square meters this year.

According to the organizing committee, the biennial event will become an annual one and will be settled in Jinan from this year going forward.
