Jinan, capital city of East China's Shandong province, hosted an investment promotional summit in Israel on June 16, in hopes of strengthening cooperation.

The event attracted a total of 50 representatives from companies, business agencies and innovative bases from the two sides.

Sun Shutao, mayor of Jinan, made a keynote speech commending Israel's innovative industries and expressed his desire to seek more cooperative opportunities in the fields of information technology, medical devices, biotechnology and clean energy.

During the event, several companies from Jinan and Israel showcased their innovative projects and conducted an in-depth discussion to seek further cooperation.
