As the weather warms up, the migratory swans in Rongcheng will embark on the next step of their journey, traveling all the way to the north.

Rongcheng, a county-level city in Weihai, East China's Shandong province, is located at the easternmost tip of the Shandong Peninsula, and it is home to the winter habitat of the Great Swan.

Every November, thousands of swans migrate to the city from Siberia, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region and the Chinese northeastern regions to live through the winter.
