An exchange activity featuring Shandong cuisine arts was held recently in Yantai, a coastal city of East China's Shandong province. Chefs from 58 hotels across the city showcased a total of 66 dishes and pastries.

Shandong cuisine, also known as Lu cuisine, is one of the Eight Culinary Traditions of Chinese cuisine and one of the Four Great Traditions.

The activity, themed around innovation and inheritance, aims to provide a platform for local residents to get to know more about traditional Shandong cuisine culture and further promote the innovation of Shandong cuisine.
