The 19th International Fruit and Vegetable, Food Expo will be held in Yantai, a beautiful port city in East China's Shandong province on Nov 9.

This year's exhibition themed around "green, health and future" covers 20,000 square meters, and it will host a series of fruit and vegetable products exhibitions as well as some seminars to promote international technique exchanges and cooperation in the field of fruits and vegetables.

Accordingly, more than 400 companies from food, agricultural e-commerce platform, plant production drone sectors were invited to participate.

In the three-day event, industry elites across China will gather together to discuss hot topics and innovation mode in the agricultural sector.

Some high-end conference will also be held including Intelligent Agriculture Drives Industry Upgrading, Intelligent Agricultural Technique Development and Application Summit and Launch Conference for New products.

Yantai, one of the first 14 coastal cities to open to the world is located in Bohai Economic Circle Area. It is also a renowned place for fruits and vegetables in China, the fruit and vegetable production and processing base and fresh vegetables export base.

It boasts a large number of national geographic mark protection products and well-known product brands like Yantai apple, Laiyang pear and Fuzhan cherry.

It has formed a superior food industry cluster featuring agricultural and sideline product production, processing, export and marine product research and development.
