Enjoy blooming lotus in Taierzhuang wetland park

With summer in full swing, lotus flowers are entering their yearly florescence at the Taierzhuang Grand Canal Wetland Park in Zaozhuang, East China's Shandong province, luring hordes of visitors to enjoy the refreshing scene in the scorching summer heat. 

Covering an area of more than 2,500 hectares, the Taierzhuang Grand Canal Wetland Park is first of its kind in the country themed on the culture of the Grand Canal. An annual lotus festival, which started on July 1, is in full swing at the park.
