Gisbelle Group, a beverage making company in Yantai's Muping city, East China's Shandong province, has developed its apple deep processing capabilities to help boost the local economy and agricultural development.

Mouping boasts several apple planting farms which can provide local companies with high-quality apples for deep processing.

Gisbelle has signed cooperative agreements with local fruit farmers to produce numerous apple processed products such as apple vinegar, cider, and brandy.

Since 2011, the company has developed apple deep processing technology and its collagen fruit vinegar drink is the only one of its kind in China.

In June 2014, the company invested around 40 million yuan to build the process factory, which has an annual production capacity of 7,000 tons and revenue of 65 million yuan.

The company is currently making plans to build its second factory; it is expected to have an annual production of 40,000 tons and annual revenue of 150 million yuan.

It is expected that this will create more than 100 jobs, giving the local jobs market a welcome boost. The company also produces various kinds of wine.
