Rethem from Russia has been living in East China's Shandong for seven years. The Yantai University student has always been fascinated by the province's rich history as well as Chinese culture, architecture, calligraphy, and art.

"The reason why I chose to study in China is that the country has rich cultural deposits. China and Russia have established close cooperation, and I hope I can get more opportunities to learn and develop in China," said Rethem.

"I plan to continue my postgraduate studies in Shandong and settle down here," said Rethem.
