The 2023 China International Talent Exchange Conference (Peninsula Branch) and International Experts Tour around Shandong Province kicked off in the coastal city of Yantai in East China's Shandong province on April 18, and was attended by a number of government officials, experts and academicians from home and abroad including the United States, Germany, Russia, and Japan.

Foreign embassies and consulates, research institutes and trade associations also sent congratulatory videos during the conference.

Sponsored by the China Association For International Exchange of Personnel, the department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province and the People's Government of Yantai, the annual conference is themed on "Innovation, integration, collaboration, and win-win", and is being held both online and offline.

At the opening ceremony of the conference, a total of four foreign expert libraries were approved, and 11 domestic and foreign talent cooperation projects were signed. More than 10 academicians attended the opening ceremony, and some made keynote speeches during the event.

The organizing committee also organized four special events during the conference to link Yantai's key industrial chains, innovative resources and talents from home and abroad, and are expected to promote exchanges and cooperation and achieve win-win benefits.
