Fushan to stage folk dances to mark Lantern Festival

Fushan district in Yantai is planning to stage a large-scale rural folk dance performance, such as yangko dances, lion dances and dragon dances, on Feb 5, which is this year's Lantern Festival.
The performance is scheduled to start at 9 am and is expected to have over 2,000 performers, who are all local residents from eight townships and subdistricts.
The event has been warmly welcomed by the public since it was launched in 2002. Up to now, it has been held 18 times and has become a brand cultural activity for Fushan residents to celebrate Lantern Festival.
